This April Fool's Day Event Isn't For Fools

This coming Saturday begins a really special event. I'm a participant (on April 22) and so are some other friends of mine:

* Brad Fallon: Brad isn't just a search engine guru, he's also a personal friend (especially since we both live here in Atlanta). If you're wondering if Brad knows search engines, check out this picture of the stats on my Auction Genius Course site. Since following Brad's advice, my traffic has blown through the roof:

* Perry Marshall: I'm meeting with Perry in May in Chicago and plan on twisting his arm behind his back to get his help on Google AdWords. He is THE AdWords man.

* Dr. Mike Woo-Ming has 150 sites with over 80 information products. I want to know how he does that!

* T. J. Rohleder is the most successful mail order marketer in America - and one of the most charming men I've ever met. Everyone flocks to him because he has charisma oozing out of every pore (and about the only food he eats is peanut butter! Anyone who loves peanut butter must be a good person. Yum. :-)

There are a lot more sharp marketers at this seminar and:

1. It's cheap
2. You don't have to go anywhere

Saturday Chores Could Be Detrimental To Your Wealth

Electronic publishing and marketing expert Alan R. Bechtold has just devised a wickedly wonderful plan to eliminate your Saturday chores FOREVER, starting April 1! And he'll do it by changing your financial future in just 30 days.

Allow me to explain...

Alan told me he hates household chores. Always has, always will. Fortunately for him, he makes so much money doing what he loves that he can afford to hire all of his chores done for him. This frees up his time so he can use his Saturdays for writing sales copy, answering clients' E-mail, fishing or just sleeping in his easy chair.

Now Alan is on a crusade to free everyone from Saturday chores in just 30 days' time. His plan kicks off April 1, 2006, and Alan has asked specifically that I invite you to join him.

To accomplish this revolution, Alan has put together a way that you can learn everything you need to know to duplicate the kind of success he's enjoyed, from a total of sixteen of the smartest, most talented experts in business, marketing and success. He's managed to pull all these experts together to deliver a unique live event that you can experience in the comfort of your home Saturdays in April.

You'll gladly push your Saturday chores aside while Alan brings you the same experience you would normally receive from a $1,997 live business and success seminar, in four live online sessions, during each of four Saturdays in April.

You won't have to buy a plane ticket, arrange a pet sitter, book a hotel room or take time off from work to learn everything you need to know to free yourself of Saturday chores FOREVER -- from sixteen information-packed sessions by bonafide experts who can't wait to show you how easy it really can be to achieve financial freedom.

And you won't have to pay anywhere near $1,997!

You WILL have to hurry. There are only a limited number of "seats" available for this truly unique business and success training event. I'm told only one out of every five hundred people receiving this invitation will be able to obtain a seat before they are sold out completely.

And, either way, seat sales end March 31.

Check out all the details and sign up here:

Saturday Seminars

Don't put this off. Alan Bechtold has actually managed to put together a way that you can invite sixteen top-flight marketers directly into your home and hand you the keys to financial freedom. All you have to do is accept this invitation and your Saturdays could change forever from this point forward.

Hurry! Get all the details and sign up before the door to this opportunity closes forever.

Truth #1: eBay Doesn't Care Whether You & I Succeed Or Fail

This week, a friend sent me to a review of an eBay book on Amazon. The reviewer wrote:

"Ebay DOESN'T CARE if you make money on Ebay".

I've heard this before and we need to examine this kind of thinking ...

1. I have issues with eBay but no one has ever accused them of being a stupid company. Therefore, their corporate policy forces them to care about the success of their sellers. Why? Because if sellers don't make any money, they will stop using eBay and its profits will cease also. That is simple basic economics and eBay certainly knows it.

2. Is there a single person at eBay who cares whether Sydney Johnston succeeds? Of course not. So what? I don't need for eBay to "care" about me. I need for eBay to attract customers who want to buy my merchandise. Period. That's all I want or need from them. My family will care about my success.

Does the author of the childish statement above think that Donald Trump is concerned if anyone "cares' about him? Does Bill Gates need warm fuzzies from his business contacts?

It's this kind of weak thinking that keeps people from the very success they crave so much. eBay has a BUSINESS relationship with its users - not an emotional one.

Truth #2: eBay Certified Providers - Like Us - Are In It For The Money

What is critical thinking? Quite simply, it's an absolute necessity for success in business, or anything else. Certainly not the only factor, but the willingness to sit down and examine our own assumptions is a quality shared by all great success stories.

Above we examined the foolish belief that to succeed on eBay, I need eBay to care about me. (I don't!)

So let's look at another comment from the same author. When referring to eBay Certified Providers, he stated "Most of them CHARGE for thier (sic) services."

WHY does anyone try to sell on eBay? Is it for the good of humanity? To make the world a better place? To while away their endless hours?

Of course not. The reason people try to sell on eBay is to MAKE MONEY.

And good for them. That's entrepreneurism at its purest. If they can make honest profits selling buyers products they want, then they are contributing in a positive way.

Yes, the author of the thought above is critical of eBay Certified Providers for wanting to do the same thing. To become an ECP isn't easy - or cheap. Applicants must pass tests and pay thousands of dollars for this desirable status. And no, eBay doesn't hand it out to just anyone. The crooks and scam artists aren't going to gain this coveted status.

Yet the author seems to think that after undergoing this tough process, ECPs shouldn't be able to charge for their services. How absurd! Why should the author be able to profit from his efforts - yet ECPs shouldn't?

There is a subtle prejudice against profit and wealth that runs through our culture. Everyone wants more money yet they often despise the very people who are successful at gaining it. Envying successful people only harms any effort to gain wealth. Here is an absolutely true observation:

What we think about expands!

This gentleman needs to expand his critical thinking skills and focus on abundance and he will have more of it in his life.
