The Amazing Spiderman comics are one of the most popular and well-recognized Marvel comic book series. Since 1962 there have been hundreds of issues of Spiderman comics, not even mentioning the fact that Spiderman has shown himself in several “cross-over” comic books with other Marvel superheroes. The stories about Peter Parker, a timid teenager (at first), then a college student, graduate and a finally a married man who becomes a masked superhero when in his costume, though typical for most superhero comics, are still surprisingly popular among people of all ages.
