eBay Auto Auction: Car Shipping Companies
Car Shipping Companies: Is Your Car Shipping Company Worth The Price They're Asking?
Car shipping companies: what you've never wanted to hear, but need to know anyway

Just because a car shipping company has an ad on
eBay doesn't mean they shouldn't be checked out!
It's all about the subcontractors
Many car shipping companies hire subcontractors instead of using their own trucks. It's only logical as it lets the companies ship cars long-distance without need to wait for additional cars to be shipped there. However, it also means that oftentimes car shipping companies use their trucks and personnel only to the in-city deliveries, leaving the most vital part of the process in hands of the third-party company.
Company policies are to protect the company, not you
Every policy used by car shipping companies has been written
solely with the company's best interest in mind. As most people
in the industry know that if you got your car scratched, you won't
return to them no matter how hard they try, many car shipping companies
care for you only as long as everything is in order. They drop you as soon
as the first problems start. Read the company policies and check exactly what they are liable for and what is totally excluded from the contract. This way you will at least know what can go wrong.
Don't expect miracles
If you want to save money and hire one of the less-reputable
or substantially cheaper car shipping companies,
don't be surprised if something will go wrong. You'll get only what you've
paid for anyway. Late deliveries, mixed delivery addresses,
dents or flat tires are not anything special – in case of cheap car
shipping companies they simply come with the territory. If you don't want them to happen, choose a bigger, better and more expensive offer.
