The right company
Exotic car transport is not something that can or should be done by a standard car shipping company. They are more interested in large numbers than in any single delivery. An exotic car usually needs some special treatment during the transport. It is either too long, too wide or too tall – or simply too darn expensive to let it be shipped by the company whose personnel is trained to handle standard cars. Find someone who's more interested in the exotic car transport market – even a new and small company that specializes in this area will be better than a market giant.
Size
Before you sign a contract, make sure that your exotic car can be shipped by the company. All too often the customer service professionals will tell you that everything is going to be alright, then you have to spend hours and hours with the truck driver trying to fit your extra-long limousine into the standard car transport container. The fact that both of you will be swearing at the same man from the company's office won't help you a bit. Tell the company everything about your exotic car and its transport requirements. This makes all the transport procedure much easier.
Extra fees?
The exotic car transport is not something done cheaply.
