Sell Things On eBay: eBay Feedback History
eBay Feedback History: Your Feedback History From Other eBayers Is Critical
What "feedback" means:
Your eBay feedback history is derived from "votes" from the buyers and sellers you have had transactions with. It's eBay's attempt to keep the eBay community as honest as possible and every buyer & seller has a feedback score.Every person can give one of three ratings:
Positive
Neutral
Negative
Giving a positive raised the eBay user's score by one point, while a negative lowers it by one. A neutral does not affect the score at all.
Obviously, the higher your score, the more trust you will inspire when a potential buyer checks out your listings. However, it's important to know that a single member can affect your feedback by only one point, even if they buy 50 items from you.

Example: look at the feedback history above. This eBayer has received 9579 positive feedback point and 49 negatives. Therefore, it would seem that her/his score should be 9,530 (9579-49) - yet it is not. That's because some of that positive feedback was received from repeat customers, which certainly are a great positive for any eBay business.
