Why Most Sellers Are FAILING On eBay!
If you want to know why most sellers are failing on eBay, this simple diagram tells the entire story. Notice that Seller A is miserable, whereas Seller B is thrilled. Yet, they're both selling the same item - and making the same profit. What's going on here?

The auction in this example is a real eBay auction of a set of fishing lures that sold for $.99. Of course, we don't know the seller's cost of the lures so we don't know the actual profit, but let's assume that after the seller pays eBay, PayPal & acquires the lures he makes $.50.
Seller A: is horrified and miserable!
He has:
* A mortgage
* A car payment
* A son who will be going to college next year
He needs at least $5,000 per month just to pay his bills. At only $.50 per sale, he needs 10,000 sales per month! Highly unlikely.
Seller B: is cheerful and optimistic!
Seller B is making the same $.50 but he has a different strategy. He knows that every sale brings him the name of an eager fisherman, a fisherman who is passionate about his sport and is willing to spend money to make it better.
